Job Description

The Branch Operations department is responsible for managing the operations i.e. processing of education loans and their disbursement. They provide quick and error free customer service and work in close coordination with the Sales and Credit departments. They implement processes and ensure strict compliance by liaising with the Risk team. The main activities undertaken at the branch level includes customer service, documentation and system enrichment. The operations team processes transactions, ensures timely disbursement, and facilitates closures – post closures processes.

HDFC Credila is looking for a dynamic and result oriented professional with experience in handling back office operations in bank /NBFC or other financial sector company. The ideal candidate should have a customer centric attitude and desire to learn and work on new activities and projects

Responsibilities To check transactions details are accurate and give authorization accordingly To ensure timely disbursement of education loan to customer with zero errors in transaction To ensure timely and accurate dispatch of loan disbursal kits To ensure banking activities are completed in a timely manner to avoid any escalations To ensure proper handling of loan and customer property documents with updated trackers for reference Knowledge of KYCs, AML, and different financial sector tools as well as general back office work. Proficient in Data entry and knowledge of word and excel. Adhere to timelines and handling of sales teams and all concerned parties. Prepare and initiate progressive reports such as Credit bureaus, Verifications, and study of financial documents. Good attitude towards Intra department coordination and handling third party vendors. Working on end-to-end file login and disbursement and working on fulfillment of customer journey with the institution. Knowledge of Invoices and maintenance of petty cash ledger. Ensure compliance in identification and scanning of documents. Able to manage filing, documentation and working on education loan requirement Open to new projects and activities pertaining to day-to-day branch activities.

Qualifications and Experience Qualification: MBA or equivalent post-graduation 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail lending Goal orientation, working effectively with the teams, interpersonal and influencing skills to manage customers effectively Proven track record of achieving deadlines and help in target achievement for the company. Excellent oral & written communication skills in English as well as the local language (If any).
