Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure network solutions to meet the organization's telecom requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new network technologies and ensure smooth integration.
- Network Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement measures to enhance network efficiency, capacity, and overall performance.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to telecom network operations.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support to resolve network-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Contribute to the development of network documentation for training purposes.
- Capacity Planning:
- Conduct capacity planning assessments to anticipate future network needs and recommend appropriate enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Telecommunications, Network Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on telecom industry projects.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
- Familiarity with security protocols and measures for telecom networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are a plus.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
