Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the IT Infrastructure & Network implementation/operation. Management for all servers, network, desktop & laptop devices Procurement of hardware resources like server, desktop network devices & laptop The candidate should have Adequate knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, Windows Security and VMWare Maintain an adequate level of knowledge regarding operating systems, application software and network resources being used to provide high-level support to users. • Maintain a schedule for workstation life cycles and provide a plan for workstation end-of-life. • Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to the LAN/WAN. Recommend and schedule repairs to the LAN/WAN Good knowledge on Storage SAN, NAS, Storage RAID levels, LUN allocation and data replication. Must have good exposure to various backup technologies like Veritas BackupExec, Net Backup and Veeam. Strong Knowledge on implementing data security procedures and protection with retention process. Ensure procedures are maintained effectively. Ensure backups are performed, periodically test tapes for accuracy, and perform restore operations when requested. Qualification: B. Tech / M.
