Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to recorded dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Transcribe dictations into accurate and wellorganized medical reports
- Adhere to specific formatting and documentation guidelines
- Edit transcribed reports for grammar clarity and consistency
- Ensure the accuracy of medical terminology and patient information
- Use transcription equipment and software to enhance productivity
- Manage workloads and meet transcription deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and healthcare records
- Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding unclear or inaudible dictations
- Stay updated on medical terminology procedures and transcription best practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare administrative staff as needed
- Provide transcription support for various medical specialties
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new medical transcriptionists

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
