Job description

Interior Designer - Reports to: Sr. Architect/ ADM/DDM

This position requires good understanding of design and spaces to develop interior drawings and details as per the finalized design under the guidance of Senior Architect/ Design Manager to produce error free and timely output.

This role also involves coordination with vendors for selection of materials and exploring new building materials introduced in the market. He/she will also be involved in site, PMC, client and consultant coordination to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Key Interactions : With Internal & External Team (Vendors / Consultant)

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Design development of interiors (schematic stage)

Enhance present ability of the drawings by using various software

Providing inputs to the 3D team for developing basic 3D models

Drawing development of interiors (all stages)

Develop detail drawings of interiors as per the inputs given by the Sr. Architect and vendors

Material selection

Select the materials as per the client requirement/liking and the project theme

Coordinate with various material vendors for rates and material application

Vendor coordination

Coordinate with various vendors (flooring material, ceiling material, lighting, glass, laminates and veneer, signage, sanitary fixings, interior furniture, interior dcor material etc.) for material selection

Consultant coordination

Coordination with structural and service consultant for design development and execution

Site Coordination

Coordination with project managers to explain the design and drawings

To make revision in the design/ drawings as per site condition and client requirement

Preparing material boards for presentations

Providing inputs on interior materials

Preparing the boards for presentations

Education: 12th/ graduation plus diploma/degree in Interior Design

Experience : 5 to 10 years of experience with an architectural consultant/ interior designing firm. Should have worked for commercial projects.

Function Competencies

AutoCAD, Google Sketch up, Photoshop

Knowledge of materials

Knowledge of changing trends in the field of interior design

Notice Period Required - Not more then 30 Days Time- / Immediate to 15 Days Joining Candidates are considered on first priority
