Job description

INFOC is seeking a talented PowerBI Developer to join our dynamic team in Trichy. As a PowerBI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI to meet the analytical needs of our organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
2. Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
3. Build data models, including data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation, to support reporting and analytics needs.
4. Optimize and enhance existing Power BI solutions for improved performance and usability.
5. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Power BI reports and dashboards.
6. Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to improve data visualization and analytics capabilities.
7. Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards.
8. Collaborate with other members of the IT team to integrate Power BI solutions with existing systems and data sources.
9. Assist in documenting technical specifications, user guides, and other relevant documentation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer or similar role, with a minimum of X years of experience.
3. In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and building interactive visualizations.
4. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Experience with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
8. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is preferred.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
