Job Details: Job Description: Defines, develops, and implements validation plans for system level integration to ensure components compatibility within the system and to meet functional, performance, and margin requirements. Reviews system requirements and provides feedback, translates them into system integration test plans, and executes them efficiently. Reviews test plans and results and supports component and system level integration from prototype to production. Applies knowledge of system level integration to identify defects and issues caused due to interactions between multiple hardware and software features. Drives defects/issues closure and provides closedloop feedback to design and architecture teams. Drives performance improvement of existing systems through troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Researches best practices in hardware and software tools for system integration and validation. Collaborates with various engineering teams such as architecture, design, silicon design, board design, firmware, and applications to improve system level bringup for next generation Intel products based on learnings from execution and defects/issues. Works with product development engineers and end customers as point of contact for platform issues. Qualifications: Job QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technology with 10+ years of applicable industry experience, or a Bachelors degree in Engineering with 12+ years of applicable industry experience. Excellent understanding of Intel Architecture, Operating System, Driver and proficiency in BIOS and firmware integrationProficiency and hands-on development or validation experience of one or more of the following -Memory Controller (different memory model DDR, LPDDR), South Complex HSIO, IO configuration knowledge (PCIe, SPI, eSPI, USB, etc.), North Complex technologies (Over Clocking, Caching, Power States, Graphics, Display, etc.), Patching flows (microcode and other silicon IPs);Good understanding of the UEFI architecture - Experience with embedded processors, Drivers development /Flash Memory/BIOS/Bootloaders preferred. Knowledge/experience in using build, version control and debugging tools.Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and influencing skills, and experience in working with cross-divisional, cross-geo, and horizontal functions;Strong experience in System Integration cycles - code review, source control, code quality, bug scrub, feature testing, and product release; familiarity with debug tools like PythonSV, ITP, and Linux kernel/driver development is a big plus.Exposure to both pre-silicon (Simulation - Simics, Emulation - HFPGA, HSLE, SLE) and post-silicon validationResponsibilities:End to end ownership of Test content development and maintenance of Firmware validation and Integration for Intel Client programs.Understand the PRD requirements and drive test content readiness with SMEs for all the program milestones. Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
