Job Overview:

As the Corporate Relations Lead at upGrad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the corporate relations strategy for our campus. Our commitment is to upskill learners in alignment with industry demands, guiding them on a transformative learning journey. Your mission is to empower learners by helping them discover opportunities in new areas of learning and certifications. You will lead a team dedicated to supporting all learners and alumni in identifying job opportunities in their areas of expertise. Your goal is to continually expand our client base and the scope of services we offer to cater to a diverse mix of academic and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding:

Drive the Sales team along with the team to onboard new clients, with a focus on expanding employment opportunities for our campus learners.

Drive a Vision for Impact:

Develop and execute a strategic vision to positively impact our clients' organizations by providing them with Future Ready talent.

Facilitate Learner Opportunities:

Champion a vision to discover and create job opportunities for upGrad’s learners, aligning their skills with the evolving job market.

Promote Visibility:

Lead marketing efforts to enhance the visibility of our learners and share their success stories, both within and outside the organization.

Team Management:

Oversee and guide the Sales team responsible for bringing JD’s and clients for campus learners.

Professional Development:

Drive professional development activities for learners through client workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance their career prospects.

Strategic Collaboration:

Foster strong relationships with senior HR leadership teams and client business units to identify future talent demands and design learner journeys that address these needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other support teams to promote Career Planning services, learner organization outreach, and New Learner Orientation.

Governance and Review : Establish internal governance procedures to evaluate the entire learner Career Lifecycle.

Vacancy Management:

Ensure a healthy pipeline of job vacancies and drive the recruitment team toward successful placements.

Desired Background: Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate relations, managing client onboarding and placements.

Strategic Vision:

A thorough understanding of and commitment to the goals and responsibilities of centralized corporate relations.

Network:

Extensive nationwide professional contacts in both HR leadership and employment sectors.

Leadership Skills:

Strong supervisory, management, and relationship-building skills.

Communication:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational Skills:

Effective organizational and management skills.

Marketing Acumen:

Demonstrated public relations and marketing abilities to represent the university and career services effectively.

Tech Savvy:

Understanding of the evolving role of technology in the delivery of career services.
