The role of Functional Safety Manager:
- Technical project delivery: Quality Cost & Delivery
- Software estimation of work products & negotiation with customers
- Project Management activities like scheduling resource loading & load forecast
- Experienced on CMMIlevel 3 (min.) Root Cause Analysis & ISO 27001 processes
- Managed services (KPI s review effective utilization & QA)
- Hands on experience in Waterfall Agile Scrum and Kanban methodology
- Communication governance & escalation
- Responsible for the revenue growth in the Functional Safety ISO26262
- Experienced as Functional Safety Manager (ISO 26262) with AUTOSAR Architecture
- Well versed with HARA and ASIL AD definition
- Understanding the Automotive Standards( ISO/ SAE )
- Mentor Safety Engineers
Skills Required :
- Work on HARA and be able to derive the safety level from ASIL A to D based on Severity Occurrence(Probability) & Controllability
- Perform Safety Analysis and review the work products (DFMEA FTA & DFA)
- Prepare and review HSI (Hardware Software Interface) specification
- Review all the work products developed through the SDLC phases & ensure compliance with ISO 26262
- Prepare Safety Plan & Safety Case
- Well versed with the ASIL decomposition methodologies
- Prepare ISO26262 Projectspecific coding guidelines
- Prepare DIA (Development Interface Agreement)
- Perform ISO26262 tool evaluation & qualification for complete V Model
Good to Have:
Hands on experience in any 5 of the following:
- Functional Safety ISO26262 certifications
- Programming C/C/Python
- MISRA (2012) coding guidelines and tools LDRA PCLINT & QAC
- Automotive protocols CAN SPI I2C LIN and Flexray UART & TCP/IP/TSN
- UDS Protocols BSP Bootloader and MCAL
- IDE tools Lauterbach PLS UDE GHS & IAR
- RTOS FreeRTOS QNX LINUX & Hyper wiser
- AUTOSAR
- Software tool chain Vector & EBTresos tools like DaVinci Configurator and Developer CANdela Studio
- CANoe CANAnalyser
- Unit testing GCOVR RTRT Tessy VectorCAST & TPT Reactis
- HIL using ETAS dSPACE VT & NI
- SIL MIL PIL & HIL
- Functional Safety ISO26262
- Cybersecurity ISO 21434
- Enterprise Architect & DOORS
- Model Based Development (MBD)
- Hardware design experience
