JOB DESCRIPTION : Editor for European Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine (EJCM)

COMPANY : IARCON is seeking an Editor to join European Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine editorial team. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies, editorial comments, and other scientific studies within Cardiovascular Medicine.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Editor will be responsible for various editorial tasks, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in the selection and review of manuscripts for publication.
• Collaborating with the other Editors to ensure the quality and integrity of published content.
• Coordinating peer review processes and providing guidance to authors, reviewers, and board members.
• Perform manuscript reviews upon assignment from the Chief Editor or Publisher.
• Assist in decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts based on reviewer reports.
• Actively encourage and promote the journal as the top choice for publication.
• Collaborate and contribute to evolving policies, principles, and practices to enhance journal quality during expansion.
• Assist the production team in ensuring the timely publication of issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Should have expertise and experience in the specialist field related to the journal.
• Should have minimum 5 years of professional experience in research and publication with minimum 5 publications in peer reviewed journals.
• Preferences will be given to personalities having enthusiasm to undertake the Editor role or IARC Members.
