Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: Darrang, Assam Experience: Minimum 10 years in Civil Engineering, preferably in the manufacturing We are a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing unit located in Darrang, Assam. Committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our companys success, the Senior Civil Engineer will contribute to the successful completion of our under-construction facility.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Management: Oversee and manage all civil engineering aspects of the ongoing construction project.
- Design and Planning: Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines in the design and planning phases of the construction project.
- Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization.
- Construction Supervision: Supervise construction activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely project completion.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges related to the construction project and develop mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction management.
- Proven experience in overseeing construction projects, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages.
Requirements: - Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
