Designation Product Engineer - Electrical Designer (Sr. Engineer,
Engineer, Executive)
Department Electrical Design and Development
Reporting to Team Lead Electrical Design and Development
Role purpose
Responsible for design and development of electrical circuit
and PLC programming for CNC lathes, turning and SPM
machines.
Responsibilities & Accountability
Carryout Design and Development activities of Prototypes
Design calculation & output preparations
Circuit design using E-Plan/ CAD, PLC programming knowledge
SAP activities
Implementation of standardization activities
Co-ordination in machine function test & interlock test for prototype machine
Preparation of special documentation, design and drawing release
Updating design changes, verification and validation
Component selection and plan
Resolving the product and assembly related issues and supporting to service team
CIP, Suggestion and improvement activities
Implementation and sustenance of ISO standards
Document issue
People Management and Learning & Development
Requesting training needs and escalate to team lead
Participating knowledge sharing sessions
Adherence to training mandays
Authority
Responsible to take a design improvements with concurrence of team lead
Responsible to release the design drawings, logic, parameters
Responsible to create the manual purchase request for special materials
MIS & Reporting
Responsible for maintaining cost savings, sale order configuration, design release, PLC logic
release and support to assembly team to solve the issues IBSC data to the Team lead

Qualifications BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Experience 3 to 5 years in Electrical circuit design and PLC programming
in a machine tool design, engineering manufacturing company
