DESCRIPTION
Planning, hiring, and developing S&LP team members who will be suitable and skillful to perform their required tasks.
• Developing professional internal and external networks to identify and recruit potential talent to the region.
• Leading and managing high performing team of loss prevention managers and specialists
• Ensuring SLP specialists are constantly aligned and cooperating with their stakeholders in business and support functions and within the S&LP.
• Developing force multipliers, by executing training and awareness improvement initiatives for various levels within operations and support functions.
• Effectively prioritizing tasks and activities to ensure meeting customers’ needs, S&LP SLA and commitment while balancing workload of the team.
• Acting as an enabler by applying performance standards, identifying resource needs and allocating resources and support to the region.
• Leading by example and demonstrating the application of Amazon leadership principles in the daily work.
• Acting the S&LP SME for the business and support functions within the cluster.
Key job responsibilities
• Providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical and information security issues.
• Track the losses and do periodic audits to mitigate the local issues, work closely with the third-party team and provide feedback as per the business and process requirements.
• Create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements while providing day-to-day multi-discipline security operations support.
• Identifying, evaluating, and managing threats and risks within all business activities within the region and area defined in his scope of work.
• Analyzing incidents, incidents and intelligence to identify trends.
• Conducting, leading, coordinating and/or managing investigations of theft, fraud and events within the sites of his area of responsibilities while ensuring compliance with relevant Amazon professionals.
A day in the life
Effectively partner with operations and support functions, in evaluating current and future business processes and initiatives,
You’ll identify, develop and implement additional loss prevention strategies to meet the unique needs of your assigned stations,
Perform interior and exterior loss prevention audits of facilities, while proactively dealing with any kind of security issue that is raised,
Perform various loss prevention inspections, audits, and investigations as required,
Encourage and promote loss prevention within the workforce, by exercising integrity and ethical methods,
Positively represent the Amazon Security/Loss Prevention department through public relations and customer service; set a personal example of the highest level

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4 -6 years’ experience in security and loss prevention within supply chain including significant experience in a distribution and logistics environment.
• Relevant qualification in loss prevention, security management and related field.
• Ability to proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe/consider all of the facts, consider other perspectives; conduct root cause analysis
• Flexible in approach and able to operate with limited guidance from management.
