Job description

As an integral member of technology team; responsible for Optical Transport Network (OTN) assessments/audits, troubleshooting and implementation. Will lead in the creation of proposal, scope, level of effort estimation and implementation plans with highly effective partner management skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overall Project management & cross functional coordination for deployment of transport network with key implementation partners including leading telco, IP1 partners, field services operations.

2. Work closely with OEM/partner to create High level & low-level network design for TSBB MPLS transport network

3. Create planning guidelines, SOP & standardization of applications KPI as per TSBB business philosophy.

4. Co-ordination with Telco, IP1, OEM & MS Partners for major migration/upgradation events in the transport network.

5. Setting up Quarterly performance & governance meeting with partner/OEM to track & monitor all operational issues like services issues, enhancements etc and work closely with OEMs to drive closures of all performance issues.

6. New Product & services evaluation as per TSBB business requirements for transport network.

7. Co-ordinating with OEM for E2E functional & conducting architectural testing in Lab environment.

8. Responsible for overall operational readiness for new products & services. Policy and Process Compliance

9. Safeguard the organizations processes and policies.

10. Strict adherence to SOP and the defined processes

11. Encourage consistent and continuous compliance is followed by all employees and vendors with safety and regulatory requirements, standards and protocols

12. Confirm your actions are compliant as per Information Security Policy

Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

10 - 15 Years 1. Specialist knowledge as mentioned in Skill set & domain knowledge 2. Knowledge & Experience of Telecom, Broadband industry will be preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

1. B.E/B. Tech or equivalent 2. PMP certification will be preferred 3. Routing /Switching / ISP network expert level certification preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Should have solution & Planning level understanding for Transport network
  
• Working level understanding of Telcos transport IP network using MPLS switching & routing platform
  
• Basic understanding on Telcos DWDM, SDH network.
  
• Basic understanding of IP1 players in broadband industry.
  
• InterCity & Intracity Leased P2P links from leading telco.
  
• MPLS network planning, deployment & capacity management for Telecom grade transport network
  
• Dedicated MPLS network for control & Management traffic for E2E network.
  
• Evaluating SD-WAN , telco NFV deployment for transport network
  
• MS Office experience working knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel, Project.
  
• Positive attitude, key learner, leadership skills, organized, dependable, and having excellent listening skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
