The Role :As the Director of Product Management in Hyderabad, India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a diverse and highly skilled product management team consisting of product managers, product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA analysts.The Director of Product Management will align the company strategy to a clear product roadmap that balances revenue growth and customer retention.The Director of Product Management has a demonstrable track record of developing and delivering B2B SaaS roadmaps that deliver unique & differentiated features to accelerate YoY Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth, market penetration, win rates, adoption and value acceleration to improve YoY Gross Retention Rates (GRR) and Net Retention Rates (NRR).The ideal candidate will have a background in plant-based operations and maintenance as an engineer, with extensive experience in product management leadership roles within the industrial software domain, such as Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), Asset Performance Management (APM), or related industrial software.How You Will Make An Impact :Executive Leadership : Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure product strategy and product roadmap reflects the company's long-term vision and competitive positioning.Product & Innovations Culture : Lead and inspire a culture of urgency, intensity, and GRIT.Product Strategy & Roadmap : Analyze company objectives and market dynamics to develop a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and market demands.Quality First Mindset : Introduce a "Quality First" Mindset across the Product Management and Engineering organization by driving the necessary discipline with high quality test scripts and test scenarios aligned with To-Be processes.Solution Design and UI/UX : Utilize deep solution design expertise to drive a clear understanding of As-Is Processes, Execution GAPS, Pain Points, and To-Be Solutions with best in class UI/UX driven by Company's Integrated suite of apps to realize value/ROI for the customer.Design Systems : Experience with leading UI/UX teams to develop and maintain reusable design systems for Angular, Android, iOS etc to accelerate engineering development.Solution Architecture : Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance in solution architecture and design, ensuring products are scalable, robust, and aligned with industry best practices.Problem Solving vs. Problem Reporting : Champion a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, encouraging team members to embrace challenges and seize opportunities.Engineering Capacity Utilization & Value Realization : Collaborate with engineering teams to challenge design, estimates and design smart approaches such as reusable design systems, framework/library approaches to deliver faster value from the roadmap.Engineering Collaboration : Act as a liaison between different departments, representing the product vision and priorities to ensure a unified approach to product development and go-to-market strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Facilitate communication and collaboration between product management, engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and coherence across functions.Backlog Management : Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on feedback from customers, market research, and business stakeholders, optimizing resource allocation and time-to-market.Motivate and Empower Engineering Resources : Provide leadership, business context, mentorship and purpose to engineering teams, fostering a culture of taking pride, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) : Establish clear objectives, key results, goals and expectations, empowering product management teams and engineers to make autonomous decisions and take ownership of their work, while providing support and guidance as needed.Industry Trends & Emerging Technologies : Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the industrial software space, conducting regular market research and analysis to inform product decisions.Market Research & Competitive Differentiation : Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation, leveraging emerging technologies and market insights to enhance the company's product offerings and competitive positioning.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation : Encourage a mindset of experimentation, learning, and innovation within the product management team, promoting a culture of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.CSAT and NPS Scores Feedback based Innovation : Establish mechanisms for collecting and acting on feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and industry experts, driving iterative product improvements and breakthrough innovations.What You Bring to The Team :- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field MBA or equivalent experience preferred.- Proven track record of success in product management leadership roles within the industrial software domain.- Strong understanding of plant-based operations and maintenance processes.- Experience working with technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, React, Angular, NodeJS, Android, and iOS.- Familiarity with field services mobile applications that support online and offline modes of operation.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.- Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution to deliver measurable business results.
