About the Startup Client:
We are a fast-growing, deep-tech startup based in Pune, revolutionizing the Auto Industry with AI based Predictive Analytics to the customers globally with our innovative patented technology. We are backed by renowned investors and poised for explosive growth, seeking a seasoned Group CFO to spearhead our financial roadmap.
The Role:
As Group CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future and setting the stage for our IPO. You will wear multiple hats, from managing capital acquisition to navigating global compliance, while ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in:
Financial Leadership:
- Overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Implementing robust financial systems and controls for efficient operations.
- Managing cash flow and optimizing working capital across geographically dispersed entities.
Capital Raising:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for raising growth capital through debt and equity financing.
- Build strong relationships with investors and lenders, securing favorable terms and maintaining positive investor sentiment.
IPO Preparation:
- Design and implement a structured plan to prepare the company for a successful IPO.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Lead the process of communicating financial information to potential investors.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Establish and maintain a strong compliance framework, mitigating financial and legal risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies across all operations.
- Manage internal audits and ensure adherence to all financial regulations.
Strategic Guidance:
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and projections to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team with deep expertise.
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with an MBA from a premier institute (IIMs, ISB, etc.).
- 20+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a multinational technology company.
- Proven track record of success in capital raising, IPO preparation, and global compliance management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong grasp of financial modeling and forecasting.
- Dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for building high-growth businesses.
