Associate Textile Designer Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Textile Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing rotary and digital designs for our textile products. As a Textile Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of unique fabric designs that align with our brand vision. Responsibilities: Design Creation: Develop visually appealing rotary and digital designs for various textile products, considering current market trends and consumer preferences. Solid understanding of color theory, pattern creation, and fabric properties. Generate design concepts that align with the customer profile. Adobe Creative Suite and CAD Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD software to translate design concepts into digital formats. Ensure designs are optimized for production processes, taking into account color accuracy and pattern repeatability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and production, to ensure designs meet product specifications and market requirements. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of textile products. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in textile design. Conduct market research to identify competitive products and design opportunities. Samples and Testing: Create samples for design testing and evaluation. Collaborate with the production team to address any design-related challenges during the manufacturing process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD software. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of textile production processes and techniques along with prior experience as a Textile Designer is a plus.
