Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing manager with a strong background in consumer research to join our media client . The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding consumer behaviour and translating insights into effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consumer Research and Analysis:

- Design and execute consumer research projects to gather actionable insights. - Analyze data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, and online behaviour tracking. - Translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations for marketing strategies.

2. Strategy Development:

- Develop marketing strategies based on research findings to target key audiences effectively. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies align with company objectives and brand messaging.

3. Campaign Management:

- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that leverage consumer research insights. - Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

4. Reporting and Communication:

- Prepare detailed reports on consumer trends, campaign performance, and research findings. - Present insights and strategies to stakeholders and senior management clearly and persuasively.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and content creation, to integrate consumer insights into all aspects of the business.

6. Innovation and Improvement:

- Stay abreast of the latest trends in consumer research methodologies and marketing technologies. - Continuously seek opportunities to improve research processes and marketing techniques.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in consumer research within a marketing context, ideally within the media industry. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in research software and analytics tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concisely. - Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines. - Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. - Understanding the media landscape and consumer behaviour concerning media consumption.
