Designation : Graduate Engineer Trainee
Reporting to : Lead Engineer
Location : Bangalore, Full Time
Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with PG Diploma or PG in Tool design/Die design/Tool Engineering
Experience : Fresh graduates from 2021, 2022 or 2023 passed out batch only without backlogs
Position Overview:
Marmon GIC is looking for motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers. In this role, you will be given exposure to work with various departments like Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Testing, etc.
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
· Willing to learn new skills
· Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering subjects
· On-time project delivery while upholding utmost technical and quality standards
· Technical deliverables including design data, calculations, drawings, test reports etc.
· Need to co-ordinate and execute tasks in global environment
Preferred Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
· Must have knowledge in tool and die design
· Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
· Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies
· Good business communication (written/verbal)
· Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/supervision
· Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities
· Ability & willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally when required
· Knowledge on cam tool path generation and cam programming is an advantage
Personal Characteristics and Attributes:
· Good understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Drawing, Mechanics/Strength of Material, Manufacturing Process, Machine Design, etc.)
· Exposure to CAD software like Solidworks, Inventor, NX, Creo will be an advantage
· Exposure to software like Mastercam, Forge NXT, QForm, Deform is an advantage
· Exposure to manufacturing environment is an advantage
· Ability to execute & deliver given tasks within agreed time and with quality
· Good English communication skill, both written & verbal
· Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office Tools namely Excel, Word & Powerpoint
