Job description

• Job Title: Formulation Scientist

  Department: Research and Development (R&D)

  Reports To: R&D Manager

  Summary:

  The Formulation Scientist is responsible for the development and optimization of new and existing formulations for a variety of products. This includes conducting research, designing experiments, and analyzing data to identify and implement improvements in product performance. The Formulation Scientist also works closely with other departments, such as Quality Control (QC) and Manufacturing, to ensure that products meet all necessary specifications.

  Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and design experiments to develop and optimize new and existing formulations.
  • Analyze data from experiments and identify trends that can be used to improve product performance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for formulation development and testing.
  • Work closely with QC and Manufacturing to ensure that products meet all necessary specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in formulation science and technology.
