Key Responsibilities:
8+ years of experience in the sales of spare parts for mining, earthmoving, and construction equipment (Please look for candidates with spareparts experience and not product)
- · Salary – upto 50k – 60k
- · Qualification – BE/ Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)
- · Location – Karnataka Key Responsibilities: Product Knowledge:
- Develop a thorough understanding of mining, earthmoving, and construction equipment, including their components and spare parts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases.
- Customer Engagement:
- Identify potential customers and establish and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, offering technical support, and addressing customer concerns.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell spare parts, maintenance packages, and related products. Prepare and deliver product presentations to customers.
- Provide accurate price quotes and negotiate terms to secure sales.
- Spare Parts Sourcing:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source spare parts at competitive prices. Ensure that the spare parts meet quality and compatibility standards with the equipment. Manage inventory effectively to meet customer demand.
- Technical Support:
- Assist customers in identifying the right spare parts for their equipment. Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and product recommendations. Collaborate with technical teams to solve complex issues.
- Sales Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and spare parts inventory. Generate reports on sales performance and market trends.
- Market Research:
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide feedback on market demands and suggest product improvements or additions. Travel:
- Periodic travel to meet with customers, attend industry events, and build a strong network within the sector. Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, especially within the mining, earthmoving, or construction equipment industry. Technical knowledge of heavy machinery and their spare parts is essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
