Job description
POSITION:
JUNIOR ESTIMATION ENGINEER
Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Must have 4 years of experience in estimation and proposal submission in Industrial Manufacturing/engineering Company i.e. pressure vessels, heat exchangers, drums, storage tanks, reactors, etc.
Responsible for the review & preparation of bid package.
Provide preliminary design calculations required during estimations and bidding stage.
Review of client requirement, code requirement, local regulation and QHSE requirement.
Prepare & check the material quantity including cost and final estimation cost during bidding.
Review the Subcontractor and /or Client Design Drawing & Design Calculations.
When required for bidding site visit shall be carried out.
All clarification / quires a raised during proposal stages shall be communicated to client and get clarified.
Award of contract or purchase order need to be reviewed and ensure that bid offer scope is matching.
Support Design team for the post bid design activity.
