What is the role of a Credit Analyst
A credit analyst is responsible for assessing a loan applicant's ability to repay the loan and processing the loan documents. Loan processing includes perusal of balance sheets, financial statements, Stock Statements, Income Tax Returns, Analysing bank statements, financial ratios, preparation of loan documents viz application forms, process notes and other documents. It also includes preparation of CMA Data, and representation with banks for sanctioning and disbursement of loans for clients.
