Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Coimbatore for the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Texila American University Consortium. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all marketing and sales strategies for the company, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, managing the company's campaign plans, and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. MBA is preferred.
- 15+ years of sales and marketing management experience in healthcare/education industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Define the appropriate sales and marketing organization mix/alignment for the demands of the market and potential customers
- Drive the development of domestic and international sales strategies
- Define new or emerging market requirements and needs that will drive product changes and new product development
- Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support
- Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events
- Lead social media efforts to collect collateral materials, conduct market research, and develop website design and content in support of high visibility/access to company materials, products or information
- Manage the hiring, training and development of needed sales positions
- Â Define and direct marketing campaigns for demand creation, lead generation and for lead tracking and management
- Develop and manage the entire marketing & sales budget
- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer requirements in the healthcare/education industry.
- Collaborative, team-oriented management style with experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales and marketing software applications.
