Oversee the design and development of Data Access Layer and SDKs for various managed services, including DBaaS, Keyvalue, Cache, etc.
Ensure the architecture, implementation, and delivery of solutions meet industry best practices and comply with security standards.
Drive technical excellence, code quality, and adherence to coding standards across the engineering team.
Product Development:
Collaborate with product managers to define and refine product requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Lead the execution of product development plans, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in our managed services offerings.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the engineering team.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain robust testing processes to ensure the reliability and performance of Data Access Layer and SDKs.
Work closely with QA teams to establish testing frameworks and methodologies.
What youll bring:
Competencies
Proven experience (15+ years) in leading engineering teams, preferably in the context of managed services or cloud computing.
Strong background in designing and implementing Data Access Layer and SDKs for distributed systems.
In-depth knowledge of databases, key-value stores, caching technologies, and related concepts.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
Demonstrated ability to drive technical vision, strategy, and execution.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Deep Knowledge in architecting and designing the large scale systems.
