Hybrid Working
Structured Hybrid Role At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.
Introduction
The process is expected to facilitate the settlement of trades, trade monitoring and booking, amendment or rebooking of trades due to mismatches with counterparty and booking errors. Trade support & settlements teams work with the dealing team, front office, technology, custodian and counterparty to ensure end to end settlement of trades is delivered. The criticality of the process requires maker checker controls to ensure all controls are met within the agreed timelines and market cut offs.
What will you be doing - Decision making ability to analyse the exceptions management of trade booking process
- Work with trading desk and settlements teams to have any queries addressed
- Ensure smooth functioning of the process and compliance to procedures and policy guidelines
- Ensure Service Level Agreements for the process are met as agreed upon with the client
- Ensure accuracy is maintained while trade booking/corrections
- Understanding of CASS policies, and to ensure process is always CASS compliant
- Monitor breaks management process and identify gaps and close them
- Perform trend analysis on MIS/ data and identify deficiencies (tools, metrics and reports) and recommend solutions
- Work with stakeholders to ensure timely KPIs are completed and SLA is maintained
- Support process and procedure enhancements
- Ensure controls and procedures are followed on a daily basis with no impact to clients and bank

- Candidate must be a graduate.
