Overview

As a Technical Delivery Manager for CMS (Content Management System), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of CMS projects within our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the technical aspects of CMS projects, encompassing implementation, customization, integration, and ongoing maintenance. This role demands a profound understanding of CMS platforms, digital transformation, composable architecture, ecommerce domain knowledge, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for CMS implementations and upgrades.
• Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery.

Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the selection, customization, and implementation of CMS platforms.
• Work closely with solution architects and SMEs to ensure technical requirements are accurately translated into CMS solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in CMS technologies. Especially in Adobe Experience Manager and Contentful

Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure CMS solutions meet performance, security, and usability standards.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback collection and resolution.

Documentation and Training:
• Create/review technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Facilitate training and support to end-users and internal teams on CMS usage and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in CMS delivery processes.
• Drive initiatives to enhance CMS capabilities, scalability, and performance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (15 years) in technical project management, preferably in CMS implementation or web development projects.
• In-depth knowledge of popular CMS platforms such as AEM, Contentful, WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla, including customization and plugin/module development.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), databases (MySQL, MongoDB), and web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
