Job Description
Renesas is looking for a talented individual to join our PCIe/CXL interface products development team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in DFT of complex integrated circuits with skills that are up to date with the latest IC design tools and flows. The Candidate will lead the DFT team, and work closely with the physical design team, test engineers, device architects, and design engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
. Responsible for all aspects of DFT including requirements, architecture, insertion, analysis, constraints, coverage, bring-up
. Work with architecture team and test engineers to understand the product specification, DFT requirements, and production test flow
. Define and drive DFT architecture and implementation plan for the project based on this knowledge, meetingtest coverage and quality targets
. Lead the DFT execution team for implementation and verification of DFT features
. Support test engineers during vector bring-up and debug on ATE
Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
. Experience with all aspects of DFT in complex SoCs
. Scan insertion and ATPG pattern generation, including hierarchical methodology
. Memory BIST insertion, including repair
. JTAG TAP and Boundary Scan insertion, including integration of 3rd party IPs supporting AC JTAG, IEEE 1500, iJTAG, etc.
. Test coverage analysis and improvement
. Gate level simulations
. Strong ability to debug and root cause DFT issues
. Fast learner who enjoys new challenges and mentorship opportunities
. Positive attitude and the ability to collaborate well in a multi-site team environment
. Strong organization and communication skills
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
. Technical leadership of a small team
. Experience with DFT at advanced technology nodes (7nm and below)
. Experience with Mentor/Siemens and Cadence DFT tools
. Experience with scripting in Tcl, Perl, Python, bash, etc.
Education and/or Experience
. An Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of practical experience
. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience
