Job description
Protein Characterization :
Mass Spectrometry:
Ph. D /M.Sc. / M. Tech. (Biochemistry / Biotechnology) with at least 2-8 years ofindustrial hands-on experience in protein characterization by massspectrometry.
Sound knowledge in mass spectrometry-based analysis of proteinmolecules e.g., antibodies (preferred), peptides, DNA / RNA etc with scientificreport writing skills.
Analytical :
M.Sc. / M.Tech. (Biochemistry / Biotechnology) with at least 5 years of industrial hands-on experience in protein characterization including HPLC, structural, and biochemical techniques.
Sound knowledge in analytical method development,validation, technology transfer activity and scientific report writing skills.
QMS:
M.Sc. / M. Tech.(Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences) with 0 - 4 years of experience inprotein analytics, such as HPLC, structural, biochemical, ELISA, massspectrometry and electrophoretic techniques OR Biologics QA experience inquality management systems (QMS) and compliance.
Good communication and reportwriting skills.
Upstream Process:
M.Sc.(Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology) / M. Tech. in Biotechnology with 1-3years of hands-on experience in upstream operations like handling mammalian cell culture process and microbial fermentation.
Handling equipment such as Bioreactors, CEDEX Bioanalyzer, etc., candidates should be capableof performing activities such as handling of mammalian cell lines, cell bank preparation, media scouting and process optimization at shake flasks,small-scale bioreactors and pilot scale bioreactors to improve yields product quality. Should have good documentation skills like SOP, STP etc.
Upstream Process:
Ph.D. , (Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology) / M. Tech. in Biotechnology with morethan 10 years of experience.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in upstream process development and process characterization ofmammalian and microbial culture.
Sound scientific knowledge as well as reportwriting skills like Process Development Report, Technology Transfer Documentand scale up.
Should have proven trackrecord to lead a sizeable team.
Down Stream Process :
PhD / M.Tech./ M.Sc. (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences/ BiochemicalEngineering) with more than 10 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with Downstream processdevelopment for mammalian and microbial process.
Sound scientific knowledge aswell as report writing skills like Process Development Report and TechnologyTransfer Document.
Should have proven track record to lead a sizeableteam.
In-process analysis and stability group:
Ph.D.,M.Sc., M. Tech, M. Pharm Biotechnology / Biochemistry or equivalent with 3-10 yearsof experience.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in HPLC, gelelectrophoresis, spectrophotometric, structural and biochemical techniques forbiosimilar or novel biological products.
Candidates would be responsible fordevelopment and qualification of analytical methods, in-process analysis duringupstream, downstream and drug product process development, degradation /stability studies, excipient analysis, report and protocol writing.
Formulations Group:
Ph.D., M.Sc., M. Tech in Biotechnology / Biochemistry or M. Pharm Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutics with 3-5 Years of experience.
Candidates would be responsiblefor planning and execution of formulation development, stability / degradationstudies and technology transfer for biosimilar and novel biological products.
Candidate should have hands-on experience on techniques related to liquid andlyophilized formulation development.
Candidates would also be responsible forformulation screening studies, selection of container-closure systems, analysisfor formulation screening studies, stability / degradation studies anddocumentation, drug product manufacturing technology transfer activities to themanufacturing site including execution of the drug product batch manufacturingin collaboration with manufacturing team.
(Cellline Development):
Molecular Biology (Clone Development) :
M. Sc. in any field of life sciences with 3-4 years of experience / Ph.D.in life sciences with hands on experience in molecular biology techniques like PCR, Real-time PCR, Nucleic acid isolation, rDNA techniques, DNA sequencing,in-vitro transcription and in-vitro translation and basic DNA / RNA / Proteinanalytic tools.
Basic knowledge of bioinformatics to handle Molecular Biologyanalysis tools.
Candidate is required to have good communication and scientificreport writing skills.
MammalianCell Culture :
M . Sc.(Any Life sciencesarea) /M. tech / M. Pharm with Biotechnology with 3-5 years ofexperience in mammalian cell culture such as handling of various cell lines,optimization execution of stable/ transient transfections, clonescreening, media/process optimization at shake flasks small scale bioreactorsto improve yields quality, cell bank preparations, ELISAs.
Basic understanding of DoE tools for media optimizations.
Upstreamanalytics:
M.Sc. (Any Life sciences area) / M. Tech(Biochemistry / Biotechnology) / M. Pharm with Biotechnology years with 2-4 yearsexperience in protein binding studies using SPR, protein characterizationtechniques like HPLC, HP-SEC, IEF, IEC, SDS PAGE etc for characterization ofBiologics
(Immunoassays):
PK/PD/ Immunogenicity :
MSc. (Any life sciences area) / M. Pharm (Biotechnology / Pharmacology)with 3-7 years of experience in activities like development, validation execution of PK/ PD/ Immunogenicity/ Nab assays (ELISA/CLIA/MSD) to supportpre-clinical clinical studies for Biosimilar /New Biologics in a GLP setup, Experience in animal handling, preparation of regulatory documents. Shouldhave scientific understanding of PK/PD/ADA of biologics in animals humans; basic knowledge of biostatistics.
Sr. Scientific Officer/ Research Associate/ Sr. ResearchAssociate (Drug Discovery/ oncology/ immunologist):
Ph.D. or M. Sc.(Immunology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Cell Biology/ Biochemical Engineering) with morethan 0 to 5 years of hands-on experience in immunology assay development, Cell cultureexpertise, Transfection, small scale upstream and downstream operationhandling, purification of recombinant proteins, process characterization andprotein analysis.
Should have deep knowledge of immunology specifically inimmunooncology and validation with good communication and scientific reportwriting skills and proven track record to lead a sizeable team.
Will supportstrategic planning for initiation and execution of novel biologic drugdevelopment programs in oncology, immuno-oncology and inflammation area.
Bioassay:
Ph. D / M.Sc. / M. Tech. (Biochemistry /Biotechnology) with at least 3 years of practical laboratory experience indevelopment of immunoassays like CDC (complement dependent cytotoxicity), ADCC(antibody dependent cell cytotoxicity), ADCP (Antibody dependent CellPhagocytosis) and Apoptosis assays.
Candidates should have a background inother immunoassay method development such as ELISA, bioassays with a particularemphasis on flow cytometry.
An ability to define and prioritize keyparameters that help in successful conceptualization of assays and projects.
They should exhibit strong organizational skills, with an ability to workeffectively within deadlines and should have good verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Novel Biologics:
PDF/ Ph.D./ MSc.(Biotechnology) candidateswith 2-7 years of experience in activities like molecularcloning, protein expression and purification, literature review for novel target andhands on experience in documentation.
