Job description
JD
· Preparation of tendering documents based on cross-functional inputs for both upcoming and ongoing projects to run the RFP process
· Evaluation of quotations and finalization of rates after through scrutiny and contractor assessment before issuing a work order
· Discuss, draft, review and negotiate terms of contracts with the contractors on behalf of the business
· Work closely with Planning, Budgeting, Procurement, Design and Site teams to ensure timely issuance of work orders in close coordination, thereby meeting the project timelines
· Ensure in-house process compliance for procurement of contractors and avoid deviations across and within functions
· Evaluate and qualify contractor’s basis organization’s standards and develop new contractors as part of dependency risk mitigation and future growth plans of the organization
· Develop contractual strategies and executing them for optimizing contractor costs
· Cradle to grave contracts management from tendering from pre-RFP to contract closeout
· Nurture positive long-term relationship with contractors
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
Qualification
· B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering (required)
· Post graduate qualification in Construction Management (preferred) ,Certification in Contracts Management (preferred)
·9-12 years of experience in areas of contracts / site / project management in construction industry
· Managing contracts of large-scale projects , Contracts management experience in PMC or similar roles
