Role Description
TipJar is seeking a co-founder who will act as CTO to spearhead the platform's software and technology development, infrastructure, and architecture. This is a full-time role that is primarily located in New Delhi. The CTO will be responsible for creating and implementing the technology roadmap for TipJar, overseeing all technology projects, and ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CTO, Technical co-founder or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge in software engineering, server architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps & SRE.
- Experience in software development, design patterns, algorithms, and scalable backend systems architecture.
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices and ability to mentor the engineering team.
- Experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as React, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with tech stack AWS, Python, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, especially in managing remote teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strategic thinking and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
