OVERVIEW :

Working as full-time IT Security Analyst (Identity and Access Management), you will be managing Fastenal's Identity and Access management systems including RBAC/ABAC systems and policy-based authorization services.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Primary responsibility is to develop and implement policy-based authorization services for internally developed applications.
• Develop processes and procedures for managing identities and access.
• Work closely with other members of the security team, development teams, and service owners to develop identity and access management policies that meet the needs of the business.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• Possess a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and have at least 2 years of experience in the areas of information security, policy development, or risk management, or system administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification as Security+, CISSP, GIAC, CISM or equivalent
• Knowledge of Axiomatics, ALFA, and XACML
• Knowledge of role-based, attribute-based, or policy-based authorization concepts
