Job description

The Market Researcher for the Life Sciences Platform is responsible for Secondary research/data mining to identify decision makers specifically for the Pharmaceutical, CRO, Industry and the academic market. Acquaintances with databases like (PubMed, NIH, LinkedIn, XING), validating, examining data, and sharing high quality customer data with the global team. Help improve operational performance through data analysis.

This position is part of the Global Marketing Services and will be located in Kurla, Mumbai.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Pull out Account & Customer list from secondary research databases (like PubMed, PMC, NIH, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Zoom info, Xing etc.)
  • Searching & validation each contact record using online directories or google; updating the contact list in excel
  • Analyses the customer data to provide trends across segments; to ensure our business strategies address our ever-changing markets.
  • Providing list in Excel of all cleaned & de-duped records to marketing team
  • Updating, cleaning, and maintaining the new customer account contact details in SharePoint
  • Communicating with global leaders as per business need.
  • No Travelling Required – It is a Desk Job

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, Pharmacy, Life Science related fields. (Specialization in Life Science related field is preferable)
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare secondary/primary market research experience; data research/mining & analysis (Product based secondary research is preferred)
  • Should have hands-on experience on working for Secondary research Tools like PubMed, PMC, NIH, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Zoom info, Xing etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access required

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Ability to communicate with global cross functional leaders in Danaher
  • Experience on Industries like Pharma/Biopharma, University, Industry, Food & Beverage, CRO, Medical, Healthcare
  • Experience in Lead qualification
