Need for the role

Most of the Rebel Foods brands have grown from being either challenger or category creator to becoming category leaders, driven by innovation and customer centricity. Brands have conceptualized and delivered category disruptive product propositions such as Cheeseblast Burgers (equivalent to Cheeseburst Pizza), Standout/unique Toppings, wholesome festive/fasting menu and the list goes on. This is accompanied by the highest focus on end to end customer experience from the time ofbrand/product discovery to post purchase interaction. At the same time, brands have touched millions of consumers through memorable campaigns/content like The Royal Palate (Food series with Chef Kunal Kapur), Behrouz Eid Campaigns on Royalty, Oven Story IPL campaigns on Standout, Faasos DateAWrap challenge etc.

However, given the increasing competition & digital clutter in the food space, and more so in the digital content space, the same old approach will not help in strengthening our brands awareness. Hence, we need to think out of the box.

We are looking for a Creative Wizard who can help significantly up our game in creative communication across all channels & media, whose contribution will help Rebel push specifically on 2nd & 3rd objective.

About for the role

The creative head will be responsible for driving creative thinking and communication across all touch points (from app, web to email, social, packaging) for all the Rebel brands. He/she will work closely with the brand teams and will be responsible for a) devising the end to end communication strategy for the brands and b) implement those strategies.

This person will have three teams (25-30 strength) reporting to him/her:

1) Social/ copy/ communication thinking team

2) Graphic design team

3) Production/studio team

Creative head will report to CMO (VP brands)

Responsibilities

There will be three broad set of responsibilities:

a) Content on App / web:

i) Manage a team of content specialists and work with product / tech teams to build and sustain a

visually appealing and engaging App / Web for all the brands

ii) Timely launches and managing various promotions on the app / web based on brand team inputs

b) Managing Social presence for all the brands under Faasos umbrella

i) Manage all social media - from twitter to facebook, blogs, instagram - presence of individual brands

ii) Develop and implement engaging content based on the brand briefs

iii) Engage with the blogger/influencer community and activate them

c) Design across all touch points

i) Work with the head of design and his team to develop beautiful design / content for all touch points

for each brand - Email, SMS, Packaging, web etc. etc.

ii) Design, develop and implement all campaigns for each brand working with brand teams.

Qualifications and Experience

1. He/She should be passionate about design / communication / brand building

2. Should have a tremendous sense of humor.

3. Prior experience of leading a creative / brand comm / social media team in a company / ad

agency (min. 3 - 8 years; relevant exp)

4. Has a proven track record for executing out-of-the-box campaigns

5. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective

participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Blog, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how

each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

6. Has understanding of the various social media tools for ORM, social listening, social media

management, etc.

7. Has leadership skills required to lead and manage a dynamic team.
