Cloud Architect on GitLab will play a role of Enterprise Level Architect and provide an atmosphere to learn & develop your skills in various dimensions & technologies.

How You ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities - Operate and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable Containerized Infrastructure on Kubernetes, ideally on a RedHat Openshift Platform
- Operate and implement infrastructure automation tools and workflows to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux, Windows and AWS cloud instances
- Operate and maintain storage , database systems and monitoring tools.
- Build automation, CI/CD and DevOps.
- Utilize best practices from software development and operations teams
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner and by providing exceptional customer service
- You are technically responsible for a company wide tool landscape
- You make sure that all systems are running smoothly through supervising performance and other key aspects
- You contribute to the clarification of reported user issues with your in depth understanding and also participate in the internal social media community for software development tools
- You support the DevOps architect in finding new solutions and improvements to processes and the infrastructure landscape to guarantee stability, security compliance and speed and hence keep the risk and system capacity usage at a low standard
- You are a team-player, like to work proactively and have good communication skills
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities - At least 8 years of IT experience in provisioning, operations, and management
- Solid understanding of deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker), Orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS) and RedHat OpenShift
- Proven understanding with TCP/IP networking protocols and components as implemented in IAAS (i.e. VPC, TGW, route tables, security groups, etc.)
- Solid understanding of operating system administration (Linux, Windows)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code language with Terraform and IT Automation with Ansible
- Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
- Good knowledge of programming languages like Phyton, Bash/Shell, Perl .... Understanding existing code and being able to adapt programs to our needs
- Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as ELK
- Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge regarding contemporary processes and methodologies for development and operations
- Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools and Good attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Gitlab and Artifactory. Sonarqube or SW360 knowledge is a plus
- Experience in working in an agile SCRUM environment
- Good understanding of AWS, Openshift, PostgresQL Ansible, Terraform, Shellscripts, Yaml etc.
