The Role: Global PRG Lead

The Team: Global PRG Lead will be a member of the S&P Global's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team, reporting to the DEI Global Lead

Our enterprise-level PRG team provides guidance, counsel and structure to our nine PRGs, enabling our global and local PRG leaders to develop strategic plans, foster inclusion, and drive social impact through programming and partnerships.

Worldwide, more than 800 colleagues serve as global and regional board leaders across 80+ chapters in 38 locations, As a Global PRG Lead at S&P Global, you will be entrusted to lead, govern and inspire the Global PRG Network. You will also have oversight over the 20+ communities that are a thriving part of our inclusion ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Global Strategic Lead to the Global PRG network to provide ongoing guidance on governance, process and alignment with the organizational strategic priorities through continuous discussions and active engagement with PRG Leaders, members and Executive Sponsors.
  • Enhance the PRG governance model and processes to enable our PRGs to align goals and actions with our overall DEI strategy.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including the global and chapter PRG leaders, PRG members and Executive Sponsors
  • Track & measure goals that are overarching enough to summarize and measure impact but also able to account for regional and local nuances and the flexibility required to support our people.
  • Provide thought leadership, guidance, and coaching to PRG leaders and ensure consistency of approach globally.
  • Connect PRGs to partners internally and externally to help support and amplify their work.
  • In collaboration with the Global PRG Boards, lead the yearly PRG Strategy planning exercise, which involves collating, reviewing and approving budgetary requirements of the PRGs
  • Identify, onboard, and support PRG Executive Sponsors in partnership with the DEI leadership team and relevant PRG board members
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the PRG Program through leader and member feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify leadership training and development to PRG leaders.
  • Monitor leading best-practice and industry trends and partner with professional associations and organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide programs/initiatives
  • Experience leading global diversity and inclusion initiatives and/or programs.
  • Strong leadership track record, with a global and strategic mindset
  • An influencer with solid interpersonal skills and exceptional executive presence
  • Strong service orientation and excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate complex environments, identify potential opportunities and help build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven success in independent work and collaboration to identify needs and develop solutions to drive business impact.
  • Negotiation skills including the ability to integrate and act upon diverse perspectives.
  • You must have extensive knowledge in employee-based groups and industry best-practices and will have experience managing employee-based programs and ensuring their success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in and understands best practices and innovative thinking around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-organizational and cultural boundaries with ease, adapting language and style to the context both in person and at a distance.
  • Experience establishing and leading large-scale programs and change-management initiatives from end to end with multiple stakeholders.
