Automation QA Engineer (Cypress) CLOUDPHYSICIAN Cloudphysician is a healthcare company reimagining the delivery of critical care through patient-centric solutions. Learn more at: JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation QA Engineer with experience in Cypress to join our team. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our soware products through automated testing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, possess strong programming skills, and have a passion for delivering high-quality soware. Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases for new features and enhancements. Execute API testing, validating data accuracy and integration points to enhance overall test coverage (knowledge of API testing is a plus). Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and report defects, track their status, and Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation. Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work closely with the development Continuously improve and optimize the automation test framework to ensure eiciency Participate in test planning, test estimation, and overall QA strategy discussions. Solid understanding of soware testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with API testing tools and knowledge of RESTful APIs (Postman, Swagger, etc.) etc.). is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills to eectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies. Additional Points: Experience with other automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of database querying (SQL) for test data setup and verification. Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter).
