POSITION: DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - OPERATIONS

As the Assistant General Manager - Operations, you will lead the charge in driving efficiency and excellence across our operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President, you will manage a dedicated team and collaborate cross-functionally. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic direction aligned with company goals, overseeing operations for multiple locations. Team Management:

Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Operational Excellence:

Oversee the implementation and optimization of operational processes, including site surveys for facility management proposals and integration of digitalization capabilities to enhance operational efficiency. Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate strong client relationships, understand needs, and ensure the delivery of exceptional services. Digitalization Capability:

Drive the integration of cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance operational processes, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements. Financial Capability:

Demonstrate financial acumen by creating Profit and Loss (P&L) reports for each company location, ensuring profitability and sustainability. Resource Allocation:

Effectively manage resources, including personnel, to optimize productivity and achieve operational goals. Performance Monitoring:

Implement performance metrics to monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness, driving continuous improvement. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and uphold high-quality standards in service delivery. Site Surveys and Quotation:

Demonstrate the ability to perform comprehensive site surveys, offering detailed quotations for soft services and technical services to potential clients. Travel Commitment:

Undertake significant travel within the city daily, as the position is only 25% office-bound, with the rest of the time spent on client locations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven leadership in operations, preferably in facility management. Digitalization capabilities with a focus on integrating technological solutions for enhanced efficiency. Financial acumen with the ability to create and manage P&L reports for multiple locations. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional level of proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, which encompasses a comprehensive understanding and expertise in working with Excel formulas. Experience and knowledge in creating complex formulas, manipulating data, analyzing large datasets, and generating insightful reports.
