You will join a team of QA engineers with a focus on best practices within the quality, test automation, and CI spaces, and work to ensure the organization is always running smoothly. These practices include metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measures.

QA Engineers are a part of our Eco-System team and ensure we deliver quality solutions during the entire development cycle of the projectÂ
Day-to-day, you will be hands-on and meet with clients, test new features on different test levels (integration, system, functional, regression, exploratory testing), write and/or conduct test plans with schedules and dependencies, as well as carry out manual and automated tests. You are responsible for automated tests for frontend components of Backbase web solutions in addition to native or hybrid mobile apps with industry-standard testing tools and scripting languages. You will also produce defect metrics and report on the full QA process.
Overall, you will need an understanding of business requirements to develop automated test scenarios and cases. Experience with carrying out performance testing is a plus.

- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), as you have to act as a mediator between the business and technical teams.
- Good understanding and experience with Agile.
- Understanding exploratory testing and when to implement it.
- You have a good amount of programming skills in Java /JavaScript/TypeScript
- Â Experience in testing across multiple platforms Mac OS & Windows.
- Web - Â Experience in creating automation framework using Selenium/Protractor, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit (Optional : Advantage to have knowledge and experience in Playwright)
- API Testing - Â Experience in testing API via RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.
- Design, iterate, and build the platform architecture behind upcoming products.
- For this role, we are looking for someone to design and implement a robust API testing strategy for our upcoming integration platform as a service product.
- You should have experience delivering API testing strategies for systems involving integration-heavy, serverless architectures.
- Lead the API Automation Project from an end-to-end perspective
- Create Automation Framework testing from scratch, using the best-in-class technologies
- Analyze the APIs that connect applications and data across multiple core, CRM, and payment applications
- Create, enhance, debug, and run the automated test scripts
- End-to-end design and setup of API testing (CI/CD)
- Create a unified test data generation strategy that is both core and vendor-agnostic
