Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Application Specialist with expertise in WordPress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a deep understanding of WordPress, CRM integration and proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies. As an application support specialist you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, integrations and websites, with a primary focus on WordPress-based projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js). Provide prompt and effective technical support for web applications. (Zoho CRM etc) Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, configuration, and user access. Guide users through issue resolution processes and provide comprehensive solutions. Optimize websites for cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Create and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates to meet specific project requirements. Develop and maintain APIs for data retrieval and manipulation. Integrating website with different third party applications like (CRM, ERP, Analytics etc) Experience in integrating business modules within Zoho CRM is preferred Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of websites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Implement and maintain SEO best practices in sites. Ensure data security, integrity, and performance. Continuously monitor and improve website performance, speed, and user experience. Implement caching, content delivery networks, and other techniques to enhance site performance. Stay updated on security best practices and proactively address security vulnerabilities. Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and backups for WordPress websites. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on WordPress development. Extensive experience with WordPress, including theme and plugin development is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication and time-management skills.
