In this role, you will be responsible for extracting valuable information from diverse online sources and transforming it into clean and accurate databases. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute web scraping strategies to collect data from various online sources, including websites, forums, and social media platforms. Design and build custom web scraping tools using Python and other relevant programming languages. Clean and pre-process raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for further analysis. Apply data mining techniques such as text analysis, clustering, and classification to extract meaningful patterns and trends. Stay up-to-date on the latest data mining technologies and trends. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in web scraping and data mining techniques. Strong proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages (e.g., R, Java). Proficiency in database management and query languages (e.g., SQL). In-depth knowledge of data cleaning and pre-processing methods. Solid understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of machine learning algorithms. Experience with data visualization tools.
