Job description
L2 Support - NFVI
Requirements:
Experience with Kubernetes: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment strategies, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
Containerization: Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker, with a strong understanding of container orchestration.
Deployment Tools: Familiarity with deployment tools such as Helm, kubectl, OC.
Patch Deployment: Focused deployment of patches on K8S clusters. Strategy in Bundling, building and merging with custom objects.
Experience in RedHat Openshift Administration Certification in Ver3.9/3.11 or 4.x equivalent experience
Experience in OCP Cluster administration and Upgrades for minimum 2 years
Deep understanding of container image and micro services design patterns
Deep Understanding of various application deployment patterns on Kubernetes/Openshift
Meaningful experience in DevOps & automation: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible
Experience in troubleshooting incidents and working on customer requests.
Collaborate with various stakeholders and Redhat
Experience in Capacity Management of Kubernetes clusters
Core Technical Skills:
Linux Administration: Proficiency in Linux command-line operations, file system management, package installation, and user administration.
Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, including building and managing container images, working with Dockerfiles, and managing container registries.
Kubernetes: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster architecture, resource management, deployment strategies, scaling applications, HAProxy and OpenShift operators.
Kubernetes Objects: Familiarity with Kubernetes objects such as pods, services, deployments, replica sets, ingress, and config maps, and the ability to create and manage them.
YAML: Understanding of YAML syntax and the ability to write and modify Kubernetes manifest files for deploying applications and defining resource configurations.
Networking: Knowledge of Kubernetes networking concepts, including service discovery, load balancing, and cluster networking configuration.
Storage: Understanding of storage concepts in Kubernetes, such as persistent volumes (PVs) and persistent volume claims (PVCs), and the ability to provision and configure storage resources.
Security: Familiarity with Kubernetes security mechanisms, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), network policies, and secrets management.
Monitoring and Logging: Experience with Kubernetes monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluentd, to collect and analyze cluster and application metrics.
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure resources for Kubernetes clusters.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to deployments, networking, resource allocation, and application performance within Kubernetes clusters.
