Job Title: Network Engineer with Virtualization
Budget: 14-16 LPA
Location: Bangalore (Initially remote; From May 24 will be work from office.)
Years of Experience: 7+ Years
Responsibilities:
♦ Understand the difference between SR-IOV networking and paravirtual networking.
♦ Utilize DPDK to develop networking applications.
♦ Explain virtualized networking packages such as Multus, Istio, Calico, etc.
♦ Troubleshoot network issues and possess familiarity with VLAN, VXLAN, IP-IP, BGP, Open vSwitch, VMware NSX, and Load Balancer technologies.
♦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions.
♦ Perform network capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
♦ Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard network infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
♦ Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
♦ Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to networking and virtualization.
Requirements:
♦ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
♦ Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering roles with a focus on virtualization.
♦ Proficiency in SR-IOV networking and paravirtual networking concepts.
♦ Hands-on experience with DPDK for building networking applications.
♦ Strong understanding of virtualized networking packages such as Multus, Istio, Calico, etc.
♦ Excellent network troubleshooting skills with knowledge of VLANs, VXLANs, IP-IP, BGP, Open vSwitch, VMware NSX, and Load Balancer technologies.
♦ Experience with network capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization.
♦ Familiarity with security principles and practices in network infrastructure.
♦ Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
♦ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
