Overview
The role of a Staff Nurse is pivotal within our healthcare organization, as they are directly involved in patient care and play a crucial part in ensuring the well-being and recovery of our patients. Staff Nurses work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and treatment to patients.
Key Responsibilities - Assessing patient health and well-being.
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitoring and reporting patient's vital signs and condition.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Participating in patient education and discharge planning.
- Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately.
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
