Job description

Job Title: Chief Manager - Finance and Accounts

Purpose of the job

Person should be well versed in life insurance accounting and must be currently part of team handing insurance accounting & reporting and should have basic product knowledge

Give a brief overview of the job, its context in the department and the contribution that it makes to the department

Responsibilities of the job holder

  1. To be part of IND AS Implementation team
  2. To assist the team in monthly, quarterly and annual closing and accounting for product set up
  3. Identify areas for process improvements / automations and implementation. Modify existing and design new processes that maximize efficiency

Working relationships

Outline the important relationships that the jobholder must maintain, and the sort of issues on which that jobholder must communicate within these relationships

  1. CA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts Department handling financial reporting
  2. Should have in depth knowledge of IND AS Reporting Standards
  3. Should have excellent communication and inter personal skills
  4. Should be able to coordinate end to end with other departments for approvals and payments
  5. Should be a self-motivator
  6. Ability to multitask and able to set priorities as per requirement
