Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and a proven track record of implementing automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment processes that underpin our software applications
Responsibilities :
Implement integrations and deploy updates and fixes.
Provide Level 2/3 technical support.
Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
Investigate and resolve technical issues.
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors.
Minimum 4+ years of experience.
Expertise & Skill:
Strong knowledge of AWS Administration, CI/CD tools like DeployHQ, Jenkins, and Ansible, Apache, PHP, Nginx Web servers.
Should know about Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Working knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and SQL Source Control (like Git, Svn, etc).
Knowledge in setting up Web Servers, App Servers, DNS Servers, and load balancers.
Understanding of Networking Concepts - IP Gateways, TCP, ARP, etc.
Should have a sound understanding of VPN.
Strong Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Golang, PHP, Javascript, Ruby). Understand how to do deployment of various artifacts manually to the servers.
Strong Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes).
Infrastructure Automation tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
Strong Knowledge of Infra automation via Terraform or Cloudformation. Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate management
