Job description
Planning
Plan the audits required to be performed by the independent firms.
Manage the process of Firm selection for conducting theses audits.
Coordinate with the selected firms for performance of the audits while facilitating the internal coordination with concerned functions for providing the necessary details/artefacts.
Perform the spot audits assigned by the management.
Track risk events within the company and across industry in order to devise triggers for special audits.
Manage overall audit activities pertaining to areas covered under these audits.
Governance
Ensure end-to-end timely closure of audit reports and submission of the same.
Prepare final audit reports highlighting the risks/gaps for corrective action.
Follow up for the closure of the all the open ATR's listed against the identified gaps/non-compliances by the respective function.
Ensure the complete coverage of the audit scope.
Quality
Review all the findings against the evidences and artefacts.
Ensure adherence to audit manual/policy/checklists etc.
Review the audit progress and coordinate with external consultants/agency for ensuring the quality audits.
Maintenance of records of all the working papers/evidence collected during the audit.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the audit reports coverage conform to the regulatory compliance requirements.
Adherence to the stipulated timelines for submission of reports.
Ensure end to end compliance of the open items for ATR's emanating from the gaps/non-compliances identified.
Provide the certification/validation sought by the regulatory body for any of the process.
