Job description

The Applicant would lead the Foreign Client Onboarding Team at the Custodian desk of the Bank.

1. Preparation of documentation for Foreign clients ( FPI FDI FVCI GDR PCM CSGL )
2. Processing of Registration & Onboarding documents of Foreign clients for registration and account opening.
3. Explaining & Educating prospective FPI clients about various regulatory requirements
4. Handholding clients for completion of all documentary requirements relating to registration and continuance of FPI license in India
5. Processing of modification requests of existing FPI accounts
6. Reviewing client structures and activities to ensure regulatory compliance from all aspects
7. Timely follow ups with existing clients to ensure necessary periodical submissions as per regulatory requirements
8. Direct Interaction with clients compliance legal and business teams for query resolution on documentation
9. Interaction with internal operations team to ensure timely account opening
10. Complete handling of all regulatory reporting on periodical basis
11. Handling audit & regulatory queries end to end
12. Managing a team of 46 people

Job Requirements Skills / Knowledge

Prerequisites would be as follows:

1. Knowledge of SEBI/RBI KYC guidelines SEBI (FPI) Regulations & Operational Guidelines

and Custody Business .

2. Proficiency in documentation review.

3. Good Communication & Presentation skills
