The Design & Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of approved promotional and corporate marketing plans. The Design & Social Media Marketing Specialist is also responsible for creating, publishing, and sharing content on the dōTERRA India Social Media platforms

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The following but not limited to outlines the responsibilities and requirements of the role:

• Work with Marketing Manager to implement marketing solutions in line with business strategy and/or services

• Designing collateral for web and events marketing, product promotion, and audio/visual services as per the brief

• Create packaging designs in line with the brief shared by the Marketing Manager and brand guidelines

• Coordinate with web specialist and US design teams for content creation and publication on dōTERRA.com

• Publish original and informative social media content daily for the dōTERRA India Social Media platforms. Ensure standards for quality, branding, and compliance are met

• Work closely with operations to coordinate scheduling and logistics with marketing

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of all messaging

• Roll-out agreed marketing and promotional plans in line with the US corporate head office and Marcom Director

• Analyze the statistics of the platforms and make changes if necessary

• Create social media marketing campaigns to increase engagement and awareness of dōTERRA products and standards

• Assist with planning and execution of leader training and other related events

Qualifications & Skills:

·  Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience of 1-3 years

·  Demonstrate skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities

·  Creative design experience and expertise with working on Photoshop and Canva

·  Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills

·  Strong oral and written communications skills

·  Ability to work both independently and collaborate within the team and cross functionally

·  Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment

·  Commitment to manage multiple projects at a time and to do what it takes to see a project through completion

· Successful experience writing press releases, creating presentations, and negotiating with media

· Proficient in MS-Office

·  Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams

· Demonstrates a proactive approach and is eager to offer solutions
