Job Description:
We are on the hunt for a skilled 6-10 yrs exp DevSecOps Engineer to secure and manage our web applications, which leverage Angular for the front-end and Spring Boot for backend services, across MySQL, Oracle, and MSSQL databases within the AWS cloud environment. This role demands a deep understanding of AWS services, including ECS, CI/CD, SNS, and IAM, alongside expertise in firewall security configurations, and KeyCloak for identity and access management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding security practices into our development lifecycle, automating deployments, and maintaining the integrity of our cloud infrastructure to support all initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CI/CD services for deploying Angular front-end and Spring Boot backend services.
· Administer AWS ECS for container management and orchestration to ensure scalable and efficient application deployment.
· Utilize AWS SNS for managing and dispatching system-wide notifications for operational events and security alerts.
· Enhance security posture by configuring firewalls, managing AWS Security services, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.
· Implement and manage AWS IAM roles and policies for secure access control across AWS services.
· Integrate KeyCloak for identity and access management, ensuring secure authentication and authorization processes for applications.
· Collaborate with development teams to incorporate security assessments and tools into the development process, identifying vulnerabilities early.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
· Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance across all platforms and services, addressing any issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
· Stay abreast of the latest security threats and technologies, continuously improving our security measures and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
· At least 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, with a comprehensive understanding of AWS cloud services (ECS, CI/CD, SNS, Security, IAM).
· Expertise in deploying and managing applications using Angular and Spring Boot.
· Proficient in database management for MySQL, Oracle, and MSSQL, with a focus on security and performance.
· Solid experience with AWS ECS for container orchestration, AWS CI/CD pipelines, and AWS SNS for notifications.
· Knowledge of firewall security configurations, AWS security practices, and IAM policies.
· Experience with KeyCloak for secure identity and access management.
· Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation, and Terraform for infrastructure management.
· Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication abilities/
